When a teenager in the family is struggling, the family can come together to be heard. You do not need things to have reached breaking point to ask for help. Hannah also sees teenagers on their own, at the same fee as adults.

What happens in the first session?
The first session usually brings the whole family. I ask questions to understand what is happening at home and what each person is hoping for. Some sessions may be one to one, so each person can speak freely, and then we come back to the group.

Can we have family sessions online?
Family sessions are in person in Table View. They can be arranged online on request.
Will my medical aid cover sessions?
Cover for registered counsellors is limited and varies by scheme and plan. It is worth checking your plan before booking. I run a cash practice: you pay on the day and receive a receipt to submit.
Whenever you are ready. You do not need it worked out first.
