Grief counselling in Table View
A space to carry a loss in its own time.
Grief is not linear and there is no wrong way to be grieving. There is no stage you are supposed to have reached by now.

Questions
Before you message
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a conversation. You can say as much or as little as you like about what you have lost. There is no history you need to have prepared.
Is there a timetable for grief?
No. The work is not about reaching a particular stage or resolving grief on a timetable.
Tell me about the grief support group.
I run a small, facilitated grief support group, with a maximum of four people, so each person has real space and continuity. Members join at the start of a cycle, after a short conversation with me. Please message to ask about current availability.
Will my medical aid cover sessions?
Cover for registered counsellors is limited and varies by scheme and plan. It is worth checking your plan before booking. I run a cash practice: you pay on the day and receive a receipt to submit.
Whenever you are ready. You do not need it worked out first.
