You should not have to translate yourself before you can be understood.
Here you do not.
Maybe this is you
You have learned to look like you are coping
No one sees the effort underneath
The systems everyone else runs on have never quite fit you
You are only now wondering whether ADHD or autism explains a lifetime of feeling out of step
This is supportive counselling, not clinical assessment or diagnosis.
What you may be after
You might recognise
The exhaustion of masking all day
Standard advice that has never worked for you
Wanting to be met, not corrected
Wondering if this explains a lot
Not needing to perform "normal" for an hour
How I work
Neurodiversity-informed. I do not start from the assumption that the goal is to appear neurotypical.
The work finds what fits how your brain works, and eases the cost of masking.
Sessions adapt where it helps, in structure, pace or communication style.
A formal assessment is useful context but is not required to begin. Where a formal assessment or diagnosis is what you need, I will say so and point you to the right person.
The ADHD and autism support group
I also run a small, facilitated group for neurodivergent adults, maximum four people, to share what you are navigating and find strategies that fit, among people who get it without the preamble. A short conversation with me first checks the fit.
Please WhatsApp to enquire about current availability.
The practical facts
Met, not corrected.
